Volunteers Needed
Hospice Volunteer Opportunities
Aurora Visiting Nurse Assn. of WI Hospice Volunteer Opportunities Volunteers are needed in Walworth county to assist hospice patients and their families. Examples of things volunteers might do: giving caregivers a chance to get out of the house, putting together care baskets, chatting with patients, helping out in the office, etc. No medical training is necessary. Times are flexible, but you must be at least 18 years of age, have your own transportation, and be willing to complete the 2-day training program. Even if you're not sure whether you want to volunteer, come sit through the training program to see if it is something you can do. Next orientation & training: Saturdays, Feb. 7 and 14, 2009 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Aurora VNA of WI office in Lake Geneva. Contact Mary Stenzel at 262-249-5860 or 1-800- 644-5860
