Pastor’s Report  (Fr. Larry)

Committee Members reviewed the cluster configurations for the parishes within district 3 and 5 of the Archdiocese, and Fr. Larry’s written response to the consultation with priests, deacons and parish directors at the District Three meeting held January 27, 2012. St. Peter will be in District 5. St. James, Mukwonago, St. Theresa, Eagle, and St. Peter, East Troy, in Cluster E, have 2 priests.  Careful consideration is noted concerning the configuration maps, pastoral leader allocations and organizational models.

Fr. Larry pointed out, regarding pastoral leader allocations, that the timeline for these changes is unknown because of retirements, terms ending etc.  Father stated he will be here at St. Peter for 2 more years.

Other information: Priests will be responsible in determining what individual priests are responsible for in their parishes.  Each parish will have their own trustees and parish councils.  Parish sizes in our Cluster are: St. James 900-1000 families, St. Theresa 300 families, and St. Peter 840 families.  The number of families in each parish and distance between parishes has been factored in when outlining the various clusters.

Fr. Larry asked Council Members to study the Archdiocesan planning  document, Vision 21st Century, information which was handed out at our meeting.  Father pointed out that particular attention should be given to pages 2, 3, 4 and 5.  Council Members are invited to give their opinion about how these clusters will function.  For example, parishes can reciprocate sacraments for other parishes and vice versa.  It is realized that changes may be difficult, open-ended and more specifics will be forthcoming.

Other discussion:  Margaret Guidarelli approached Fr. Larry about information to be a representative for evangelization.

Trustee Report  (Pat Prahl)

Cemetery meeting will be Tuesday, April 3.

Building and Grounds (Mark Nolting)

Bob got 2 quotes for steeple repair and tuck pointing church.  Bob will be at next meeting to report.  Looking at patching asphalt driveway as it is lower than the sidewalk.  Bob wants detail of expenditures for each year.  New list of capital improvements coming up.

Human Concerns (Ron Chmiel)

Ron reported the Pro-life Pregnancy Helpline Annual Spring Banquet will be held Friday,

April 27, at the Community Church in Elkhorn.  Helping Hands aided 22 clients during the first quarter: 14 rent, 3 utilities, 2 gas, 1 water and 2 groceries.

Communication (Tracy Dudkiewicz)

Toni stated Judy Kmiec suggested continuing website service with LPI.  She contacted LPI about hosting and design.   The initial fee is $500 and $25 per month for the hosting fee, however, this company cannot do our website now, but could have it up and running in 1 month.  Toni stated she is not comfortable with this.  Note: LPI prints our bulletin.  Toni also contacted another company recommended by Tracy.  This company charges $750 initially, then $7.95 per month to host website, but we will have to convert to their format.  The current web hoster has not invoiced yet.  We are still in a holding pattern.

Bev reported there were 7 at the School Committee meeting.  Teachers requested possibly borrowing money from the Athletic Committee funds for the purchase of computers.  Athletic Committee responded they would need the loan money back by August.  Suggestion was made to borrow money from Script.

Fr. Larry put notice in bulletin that 2 to 3 School Committee Members are still needed.

Script – Colleen is uncomfortable making monthly contributions to Parish as this time.
